Personal Reaction

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the "Parable of the Sower". Buttler has done an excellent job of creating twists and conflict throughout the novel so the reader does not get too bored in the middle of the story. She details her novel appropriately so that the reader can fully grasp the scenes it takes place in. I was able to better appreciate her work after analyzing it further because it gave me a better understanding of what was going on in the story and to make accurate connections throughout. The value of literacy that was displayed in "Parable of the Sower" was high and I agreed with its importance in the daily lives of people.  "Parable of the Sower" was an overall good read.
